Versatile skill-set to handle Every project
Hello,
My name is Jordan O’Connell. I am a passionate graphic designer who is eager to get his name out in the visual and design world. I enjoy typography, poster design, package design, and UX Design. These fields have infinite potential for wonderful flavors that can help make your brand pop and gain more attention.
I have graduated and obtained my Associates Degree in Graphic Design from Brightpoint Community College, and, I am currently attending Arizona State University’s online program to achieve my Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design!
I am proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, DaVinci Resolve video editing, Figma, and Procreate.
Appealing Rebrands
To achieve my Associate’s Degree, I was tasked with reaching out to a small local business and give them a free design overhaul.
Thanks to Richmond Comix’s collaboration, I was able to create concepts of what a complete makeover could potentially look like.

Pen Gear + Package makeover
Part of what makes the design process so intriguing is taking an already established concept and asking yourself, “How do you make this more interesting? What would it have to look like for me to give this a chance?” And I took that question to hard with this product. I believe every brand has the opportunity to make their packaging look as beautiful as they can be.
Redesigned Pen Gear +’s No. 2 Wood Pencil package to be more exciting and desirable. With more eye-catching colors and amazing artwork, customers would be more indulged to purchase this brand.
For the final project of my UX Design Experience class, the class was separated into three teams to create a website design for our client. She was an Airbnb host and wanted to use colors similar to her logo.
I presented the project for my team as we were ultimately chosen for the best design. We created coherent mock-ups in Figma for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
